Jesus' Commandments-20 (SD77)

Mat 7:13-14 "Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it."
There is only one way that leads to life and that is in Christ Jesus.
John 14:6 Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me."

Gate is Narrow
John 3:3 Jesus answered and said to him, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God."
Once you are a born again Christian with the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, and when you seek to understand Him more by reading the bible frequently, He will reveal from the bible what you need to understand as a young believer. If you seek Him zealously with sincerity He will reveal to you more and more of the knowledge of Him, His will, words, ways, power, kingdom and glory. Then you will be able to find the gate into His kingdom.

Enter the Narrow  Gate
Jam 2:14-18 What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can faith save him? If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food, and one of you says to them, "Depart in peace, be warmed and filled," but you do not give them the things which are needed for the body, what does it profit? Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead. But someone will say, "You have faith, and I have works." Show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works.
To be able to enter the narrow gate, we must be the doers of the words and not just hearers, for faith without works is dead.

Difficult is the Way
1 John 2:5-6  But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are free in Him. He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked.
To be able to enter into the kingdom of God our love for Him must be perfected, and we must walk the way He had walked; in obedience, humility, perseverance, mercy,  kindness, love and finally offered Himself as the sacrificial Lamb for the propitiation of our sins.
Phi 2:3-8 Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself. Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others. Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.

God is Love
Ephesians 3:14-19 For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height— to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.
When we truly know the love of Christ, we will love to keep His commandments.
