Jesus' Commandments-6 (SD63)

The Lord's Prayer
If only we can follow our Lord's instruction in prayer with humility, sincerity and truth, our prayers will reach the throne of God.

Mat 6:9 "After this manner therefore pray: Our Father which art in heaven, hallowed be thy name."
When you come before the King of king in prayer do you not bow down in humility and submission for His grace and mercy. Or do you behave like rebellious children demanding and ordering Him to grant your requests?
Please note that our heavenly Father is the Creator of the universe, the Almighty God and King of kings. Let's not forget to give Him our love and adoration as our beloved Father.

Mat 6:10 "Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven."
Our Lord confirmed that His will be done. We must accept His will for it is for our good. Or do you think that you love men more than God? Or that you are better in helping men than God?

Mat 6:11 "Give us this day our daily bread."
Even though you may be a millionaire, He is the One meeting all your needs including the very food on the table. All your money,  wealth and children are His but under your stewardship. Ensure that you have faithfully discharge your duty
1. by sending money to help the poor, need and mission field.
2. by bringing up your children to be God fearing.

Mat 6:12 "And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors."
All human beings are His children and created in His image. The will of God is that every human being will be saved. Christians are the salt of the earth and the light of the world and we are to show and lead the non believers to salvation with our good works,  especially when we can even forgive our enemies.

Mat 6:13 "And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen"

lead us not into temptation
Whenever the Holy Spirit convict us of sin, we must come before God for His truth and strength. With our faith in Him and His words, we will be able to avoid being enticed by these sinful desires or temptations.
Jam 1:14-16 But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed. Then, when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, brings forth death. Do not be deceived, my beloved brethren.

deliver us from evil
Unfortunately, many newer versions translated evil to evil one. Brethren, our Lord Jesus has delivered us from the devil (evil one) and as children of God, no one can harm nor hurt us without our Father's approval.
Misled Christians are now fighting the devil instead of seeking God's truth, love and pleasure. Every little incident, the devil is being blamed for causing the sickness, accident, sadness, children's  problem, finance, etc.
Brethren, we actually need to be delivered from evil (not evil one), - the love of money,  covetousness or selfishness found within us.
1 Tim 6:10 For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen"
All the successes in our lives are from His anointing, guidance,  teaching and leading. Let us glorify His name all the time and please do not steal His glory.
John 15:5 "I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing."
