Mat 7:1 "Judge not, that you be not judged.
We are not to judge the motives of the good works of our brethren, such as prayer, witnessing, evangelism, giving, visitation, etc. The most important thing is that they are doing God's will. As far as we are concern, we should be thankful that we have such brethren who sacrifice their time, effort and money doing such good works.
Let's leave the motive to God who alone can judge the intent of the heart. Let's stop all types of criticism and judgment of brethren concerning their good works.
Phi 1:15-18 Some indeed preach Christ even from envy and strife, and some also from goodwill: The former preach Christ from selfish ambition, not sincerely, supposing to add affliction to my chains; but the latter out of love, knowing that I am appointed for the defense of the gospel. What then? Only that in every way, whether in pretense or in truth, Christ is preached; and in this I rejoice, yes, and will rejoice.
Mat 7:2 "For with what judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you."
Brethren, please do realise our prayers, donations, teachings, etc. may not be really that pleasing to the Lord for we may not be practising mercy, justice and faith. So let's not judge other brethren. Some misled Christians think that they are doing God a favour by giving, serving, witnessing, praying, etc.
Mat 23:23 "Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have neglected the weightier matters of the law: justice and mercy and faith. These you ought to have done, without leaving the others undone."
Mat 7:3 "And why do you look at the speck in your brother's eye, but do not consider the plank in your own eye?"
How can you condemn brethren for not giving enough when you are robbing members and widows with your long prayers to bless and prosper them.
Mat 23:14 "Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you devour widows' houses, and for a pretense make long prayers. Therefore you will receive greater condemnation."
Mat 7:4-5 "Or how can you say to your brother, 'Let me remove the speck from your eye'; and look, a plank is in your own eye?"
Distorted truth and heresies taught in churches will cause Christians to become carnal, covetous, selfish and worldly. These misled and self righteous Christians think that they are the beloved sons of God. Their great love of the world and the things therein lead them to be deep in sins, which prevents them entering the kingdom of heaven.
Mat 23:13 "But woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you shut up the kingdom of heaven against men; for you neither go in yourselves, nor do you allow those who are entering to go in."
Mat 7:5 "First remove the plank from your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye."
Pastors and brethren, the sheep are His and it is our duty to teach the truth in His words, which will help Christians to overcome worldliness, covetousness and selfishness.
Teach them to help the poor and needy, do charitable and social works, true missions, etc. otherwise they are goats and not sheep.
Mat 23:27-28 "Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you are like whitewashed tombs which indeed appear beautiful outwardly, but inside are full of dead men's bones and all uncleanness. Even so you also outwardly appear righteous to men, but inside you are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness."
